Gregg Malarkey is the President and CEO of First National Bancorp. Gregg entered the mortgage industry in 1996 after working in Real Estate sales for several years. Prior to this he studied real estate and finance at The Ohio State University. Since the beginning of Gregg’s mortgage career, he has been a top mortgage originator nationally and he has helped thousands of satisfied clients across the country, realize their dream of home ownership.Gregg comes to First National Bancorp after serving as retail Vice President for a prominent bank headquartered in Chicago. During his time there, he was responsible for recruiting, sales development, sales management, and oversaw operations, while at the same time, he was recognized as one of the top sales originators nationally. Prior to serving as a retail vice president he served as the President and CEO of one of the largest wholesale mortgage lenders in Ohio for over 10 years, where he ran the sales and operations of the organization.Gregg is leading and developing a team of mortgage bankers in his local market, as well as, identifying and developing qualified candidates and or teams on a national basis. The combination of Greggs leadership and the stable dynamic platform that First National Bancorp provides, offers a powerful solution for our originators, real estate partners and home owners a like.Gregg lives in Dublin, Ohio and has one son named Chase (19), who is attending the Lindner College of Business, at the University of Cincinnati. When not working, Gregg enjoys time with his family, friends and an occasional round of golf.
