As Chief Executive Officer of Remittance Processing Solutions (RPS), Gregg is responsible for all operations.Gregg’s legal responsibilities include Intellectual Property protection, customer licensing, and ensuring full legal and industry standard compliance of the processing systems with established banking standards for the protection, exchange and communication of information. Gregg is also responsible for all aspects of managing, designing and developing RPS’ state of the art financial processing systems. Gregg is a industry recognized expert on issues relating to information security and privacy in areas such as communication protocol design and implementation, secure storage devices, secure networks, and applied cryptography.Gregg is the chief architect of RPS' payment processing system, transforming it from a local, single workstation using Microsoft Access to a distributed multi-user SQL system that implements features such as remote remittance scanning, statistic driven fuzzy matching algorithms, seamless information redundancy and fault tolerant data backup, as well as state of the art security and privacy throughout the complete processing cycle. Gregg also designed and implemented RPS' secure remote check and image capture architecture, as well as a proprietary optical character recognition application that improved optical based MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) read for remotely scanned 200 dpi images from 80% to 99.99997% accuracy.

At Pulse~Link Gregg served primarily in the role of General Legal Counsel, concentrating on managing the protection of their novel communication system using patents and licenses. Gregg directly managed Pulse~Link's extensive patent portfolio and licensing programs, as well as several patent enforcement actions handled jointly by Gregg and outside counsel. Gregg reported directly to the CEO and CTO/founder, and was responsible for advising both senior management and the Board on all legal issues.

In 2004, Gregg was appointed by President Bush as a Private Sector Technical Adviser representing the United States before the ITU for international radio regulatory matters.

As Senior Intellectual Property Counsel and then as a Director in Motorola Labs, Gregg was instrumental in creating and managing Motorola’s worldwide advanced wireless network strategy center for alternative networks and the Ultra-wideband Technology Center. These organizations were industry leading firsts and formed the basis for new business opportunities created by Motorola and other companies like Intel and Qualcomm. The fruits born from these efforts are now billion dollar business represented by standards such as IEEE 802.11 "WiFi®," IEEE 802.15 Personal Area Networks, Bluetooth® and IEEE 802.16 WiMAX. Gregg was also responsible for identifying, evaluating and acquiring businesses that would both compliment Motorola’s current portfolio and provide strategic growth opportunities. As a direct result of Gregg’s work in this area, Motorola acquired companies like General Instrument Corporation and Symbol Technologies.

As Senior Intellectual Property Counsel for Motorola, Gregg was responsible for creating its comprehensive intellectual property portfolio management system including both relational database searching tools and portable artificial intelligence driven patent generation programs. By applying these systems, Motorola reached the third ranked spot in issued United States patents, without sacrificing quality. Motorola benefited greatly from these efforts, which allowed it to effectively manage the creative process and appropriately protect its intellectual assets. Additionally, Motorola used these tools to track and manage all of their intangible assets, resulting in several significant licensing deals.

Before attending law school and becoming a lawyer in his mid 30’s, Gregg was a highly respected engineer in Motorola's fast growing Paging Group.
