As Chief Executive Officer of Remittance Processing Solutions (RPS), Gregg is responsible for all operations.Gregg’s legal responsibilities include Intellectual Property protection, customer licensing, and ensuring full legal and industry standard compliance of the processing systems with established banking standards for the protection, exchange and communication of information. Gregg is also responsible for all aspects of managing, designing and developing RPS’ state of the art financial processing systems. Gregg is a industry recognized expert on issues relating to information security and privacy in areas such as communication protocol design and implementation, secure storage devices, secure networks, and applied cryptography.Gregg is the chief architect of RPS' payment processing system, transforming it from a local, single workstation using Microsoft Access to a distributed multi-user SQL system that implements features such as remote remittance scanning, statistic driven fuzzy matching algorithms, seamless information redundancy and fault tolerant data backup, as well as state of the art security and privacy throughout the complete processing cycle. Gregg also designed and implemented RPS' secure remote check and image capture architecture, as well as a proprietary optical character recognition application that improved optical based MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) read for remotely scanned 200 dpi images from 80% to 99.99997% accuracy.
