Tim’s architectural experience has been focused on the healthcare industry specifically in master planning, programming and healthcare technologies. Tim most recently was the Principal-in-Charge for the Northwestern Memorial Hospital Galter Bed Addition, University of Chicago Medical Center Comer Children’s Center for Specialty Care Clinics, OSF Rock Cut Crossing Ambulatory Care Center, Northwestern Operating Room Modernization and Video Integration, Northwestern Digestive Health Center and Loyola Ambulatory Care at Burr Ridge. His innovative approach to solving the complex problems associated with healthcare planning combined with his ability to effectively shepherd users through the process define him as a trusted leader in the industry.Tim attended and received his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, Illinois and is currently an active member of the AIA and ACHA. Some of his contributions to the industry include regular speaking engagements at the Symposium of Healthcare Design Conference, The University of Wisconsin Engineering Project Management seminars and the Annual Construction Writers Association conference. His publications include “Smart Design: New Rehab Hospital Incorporates Treatment Philosophies and Patient Needs,” as well as “Surgery Addition at Provena Mercy Medical Center Offers Top Surgical Technology in Patient-Friendly Surroundings,” both published in Chicago Hospital News.
