I’m a solutions-driven Technology and Brand Strategy Executive with 6+ years in the cannabis industry working in regulated states (FL, CO and MA). At Happy Valley my core focus has been building our tech stack, creating efficiencies across all departments via proprietary software and executing brand strategy. As the first person hired (today we are 225+ employees) I have worn many "hats" from marketing, retail store openings, project management to IT Help Desk.My 20+ years of technology experience began in 2000 during the dot com boom working as a web developer, designer, product manager and project manager. In 2006 I jumped into entrepreneurship and started Blue Whale Web Solutions, Inc. a web design, development, and SEO firm. Along the way I started and sold several lead generation web properties - FreePoolQuotes.com, GoldPawnShop.com and iPhoneAppQuotes.com to name a few. In 2009, I quickly recognized an opportunity in mobile app development services, pivoting Blue Whale from a web company to a mobile app development company. Blue Whale grew to a team of 20+ developers, designers, project managers and sales people. In January 2016, Blue Whale Apps was acquired which allowed me to focus on the emerging cannabis industry taking place in the US.In late 2016 I created Canna Holdings, an event company dedicated to producing medical cannabis educational events for physicians in Florida as the industry started to take shape in 2017. Before there was even one dispensary open, Canna Holdings produced events that over 1,000 physicians attended paving the way for medical marijuana doctors to get certified. I enjoy my mentoring start-ups, medical cannabis education, fishing, gardening, playing guitar and vacationing with family.
