SolidWorks design of test fixtures for Conductivity-Temperature-Depth (CTD) sensors

• Fabricated four-resistance-state trilayer multiferroic tunnel junctions using pulsed laser deposition, photolithography, ion milling, magnetron sputtering, and wire bonding• Analyzed electron transport, ferroelectric, ferromagnetic, and piezoelectric properties of samples at low temperatures obtained with physical property measurement system, closed-cycle helium cryostat, and continuous-flow nitrogren cryostat• Developed LabVIEW programs to interface with measurement electronics including source-meters, multimeters, and temperature controllers to enable measurement automation• Designed and machined numerous metal parts to enhance measurement apparatus, including a completely custom sample holding system for closed-cycle helium cryostat

Analyzed the effect of decreasing aluminum film thickness on continuity and resistivity in micrometer-scale spiral inductors created with NPGS CAD software, electron beam lithography, aluminum film deposition by heat evaporation, and wire bonding.
