I’m a Proposals Engineer with strong skills in technical writing and producing bid packages for complex multi-million-pound engineering projects. The systems division specialises in the bespoke design and manufacture of ‘special purpose machinery’ and its integration with new and existing equipment. Our dedicated systems division has mechanical and control system engineers with years of experience in machinery design to provide robotic and automated product handling solutions across a broad range of industries.My role as proposals engineer includes:- Supporting the sales and applications team with creation of technical and commercial proposals documentation.- Communication with suppliers of developed process solutions for integration into bespoke automation systems.- Obtaining quotes for proprietary equipment.- Involvement with concept ideas and technical feasibility. - Customer URS / RFQ / specification assessment and cross-referencing against proposal.- Communication with customers to confirm requirements, obtain additional information and respond to technical queries regarding the solution.

Welding and fabricating of bespoke high quality sheet metal assemblies for a wide variety of customers, including the Ministry of Defence, United States Air Force and Jaguar Land Rover. Stainless Steel enclosures for pipeline sampling and climate controlled test chambers. NATO-spec toolboxes and fuel tanks. Assembly and site installation of fabrications across the UK.Highly proficient in all aspects of fabrication projects. Understanding of customer's requirements, design and development, forming, cleaning and finishing, and then assembly and installation of the completed fabrication at customer's site. Coded in MIG and TIG welding.
