The duties of the position consist mainly of design of building mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing and fire protection; working with other consultants and owners on building designs; laying out and drafting mechanical systems using Revit and AutoCAD. Also, the coordination of drawings with other disciplines, sizing mechanical systems such as piping and ducting, evaluating and producing building heating and cooling loads, equipment sizing and selection and construction site reviews.

Design and modify products (Registers, Grilles & Diffusers) for market- three dimensional CAD for sheet metal; technical writing of work instructions and installation and maintenance instructions and technical marketing data; work with other team members and provide feedback when necessary; develop, build and test prototypes; work with factory to tweak and resolves issues that arise; coordinate testing with the R&D department and process test data for review.
