Responsible for all aspects of the day to day operations of the SBA Small Business Development Center including managing 50 business mentors, reporting requirements to the Small Business Administration, planning and coordinating events, overseeing all client relations and representing and promoting the program throughout the region. KEY RESULTS:• Passed the NASBITE Global Business Professional Certification proctored exam on 12/17/17• Grew the mentor program from 5 mentors to 50 mentors and 60 clients to 360 clients in 2 years• Increased the hours of direct one-on-on free mentorship for small businesses in our community from 250 hours in 2015 to 2,800 hours in 2017• Was responsible for $4.5M+ in regional economic development in 2016 and more than 450 jobs in the greater Richmond area as reported by our mentees

We built interactive experiences for a range of industries including commercial real estate, sporting events, historical and tourism destinations, hospitals and healthcare, professional networks and associations, small businesses and nonprofits, and more.HostRVA, LLC. acquired NimblePitch, Inc in July 2015.

We specialized in building propriety Learning Content Management Systems and Virtual Tour / Orientation platforms. In 2001 we launched one of the first College virtual tours in the U.S., which spawned an entirely new industry. Groundwork Design went on to build over 100 virtual tours and eLearning systems for colleges and university across the country. Our cutting edge interactive learning experiences won 3x Webby Awards (including on for the official visitor's guide to the U.S.Capitol Complex) and 8x Adobe Featured Site of the Day Awards in our 13 years of operation.GroundWork Design was acquired by a subsidiary of Blackboard, Inc. in November 2014.

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:• Founding member of Capital One University, the corporate-wide training and development department• Designed, developed and managed several enterprise-wide HR Training Portals which received 750,000+ session views per year.• Managed a multi-generational team of developers, designers, and contract labor and 20+ member cross-functional project teams.• Served as evangelist and project manager for new learning system development projects including the launch of an HR WIKI and other online learning tools. • Managed all communications and change management support for major HR training initiatives including senior leadership announcements, system rollouts, organizational changes, and new program launches. • Led a range of client engagements including brainstorming and consultation, scope definition, resource allocation, project management, delivery, adoption, and change management.

• Built a new web solution that significantly streamlined HR-wide operational processes and improve the internal customer experience, resulting in reduced errors and faster turn-around time on requests.• Managed the needs analysis, budgeting, and stakeholder buy-in / approval process.

Was part of the development team for a propriety Individualized Education Program tracking system that was used in K12 schools across the Commonwealth of Virginia.
