Business strategy is my professional passion, and has been for over 20 years. I’ve learned a lot about it, reading scores of books and hundreds of articles. I’ve developed and implemented strategy at companies large and small, and really enjoy teaching it, both in academia and as a strategy consultant.My approach is that of a strategy coach - rather than feed you a meal, I’ll teach you to fish (as the saying goes.) That’s why I draw from over 40 frameworks, models, and tools to customize each engagement. I call my system the CAFE approach - Context, Analysis, Formulation, and Execution. Following this four-step process - and taking into account the factors we just discussed - will help you produce a comprehensive, tailored strategy.
