Held various positions in Melbourne commencing as a computer programmer in 1976, standards and development tools management, database administration, data dictionary administration, database design, systems and process design, then project consultant roles both within Colonial Mutual Australia and externally. The last being In 1986 as the Application Development Manager for New Zealand’s software development department in Wellington (NZ).
