Responsible for the inception and development to commercialization feasibility decision for all new Ice and Water related features including: Icemakers, Ice Dispensing and conditioning system, Water Filters, and Water circuit technologies.

Responsible for the technical oversight of all projects related to Ice and Water as well as providing mentorship and consultation to all Engineers working in the Ice and Water area.

Lead the inception, design, and production launch of a new Customer focused Ice and Water Dispenser architecture. The design accommodated multiple door constructions, shapes, and Brand architectures.

Lead the revolutionary design which involved relocating the Ice Container and Drive mechanism from the Freezer compartment to the Freezer door of 25’ and 27’ SxS models. This provided the consumer with 1.0 additional cubic feet of usable freezer space and set the new standard for Ice system design for the industry.

Lead the redesign of the “legacy 1976” electromechanic Dispenser and reduced the part count from 70 to 35, reduced the BOM cost, and improved the quality and usability for the consumer.

Applied a powered Ice and Water Dispenser feature to the 22’ & 25’ Top Mount platforms.

Applied the Ice Crusher Feature to the 22’ SxS Ice Cube Dispenser model.

Special 9 month assignment on location at the Fort Smith, AR SxS manufacturing facility to identify and correct manufacturing and design related quality issues.

Component responsibility for Defrost Timers, Evaporator and Condenser fan motors and blades, defrost bimetals, defrost heaters, evaporators and condensers.
