Joined TMK Consulting Engineers in 1995 as a graduate Mechanical Services Engineer and am currently an Associate Director, the Senior Fire Safety Engineer and Building Services Manager, for all the services disciplines (Mech, Elect, Fire, Hyd).Have been involved in a wide range of major commercial, government and industrial projects, including; defence, hotels, medical, retail facilities, laboratories, institutional buildings (health and education) and new/refurbished office buildings.Expertise:- Experience with the successful completion of all phases involved in a Fire Services and Building services project including concept, design, documentation and construction delivery of many small to large multi-storey projects. - Knowledge and experience in requirements of building projects such as National Construction Code Part J compliance; SAMFS policies and Guidelines, and SAWater policies and procedures;- Consultation with major stakeholders (i.e Developers, clients, architects, building certifier, SAMFS) to arrive at an agreed outcome;- Fire audits and assessments, - NCC BCA Fire Services Performance Solutions; including assessing options, consultation and tabling of all formal documentation as required for building certification;- As Building Services Manager is responsible for the running of the team; project delivery, quality, workloads, budgets, and ensure profitability of the team;- Experience as a Project Manager and has worked in the management and delivery of projects.
