Greg Johnson works in GIS for Will County. Mr. Johnson graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Geography from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. He has over 25 years experience in the GIS industry, including over 15 years working for both state and county agencies. Greg received the ILGISA Service Award in 2011. The Will County GIS Department received the URISA 2012 Distinguish System ESIG Award for our Master Address Point System. Greg was certified by the GISCI as a GISP, and has participated on their review and renewal committees. He served five years on the ILGISA board, and was their President for the 2012-13 year. Greg is a former president of iMAUG (IL Municipal ArcGIS Users Group). He was involved on the Illinois GIS Strategic Planning Committee for the Statewide GIS Initiative. Greg has presented at several conferences including the 2011 ESRI User Conference, ILGISA, Indiana GIS and IMAGIN (Michigan GIS) conferences. Mr. Johnson was a co-chair for the 2010 ILGISA Fall Conference, and the 2012 ILGISA Spring Conference. He has also participated on the planning committees for the last two URISA conferences in Chicago.
