Tasks ranged from simple model development, complex modeling applications, permitting, and compliance for local, national, and international clients.Projects Included:Managed air quality construction mitigation monitoring as a California Energy Commission (CEC) approved task leader at a large thermal solar power plant construction site. Tasks included managing air environmental tasks for this multi-million dollar project, communication with the CEC and other regulating bodies, and managing additional air quality mitigation monitors.Performed on-site audits for multiple petroleum coke calcining facilities in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Illinois.Directed Health Risk Assessments for several facilities within California, including a food container coating facility and a biosolids drying facility. This included air dispersion modeling using both AERMOD and ISC, as well as risk analysis with California's Hotspots Analysis Reporting Program (HARP).Contributed to greenhouse gas emissions quantification as required by California's Air Resources Board and the US EPA for 12 different landfill gas, municipal solid waste, and biomass power plants across California and Hawaii.

Assisted in the development of a three-tiered coupled model that joined atmospheric dynamics, ocean dynamics, and ocean biology to study climate change in western boundary currents and their associated land masses. Focus was on North and South American west coasts. Research the oceanic sulfur cycle to study the feedback between ocean biological sulfur production and local cloud formation. Results were published in Geophysical Research Letters.
