After nearly 40 years in the industry, there are not many aspects of software development that Greg has not been involved in. From concept and vision to development and deployment, Greg has had a significant part to play.Greg has been the Lead Architect on a number of large enterprise systems, and complex software product development projects. Keeping the architectural big picture intact is his forte.Starting off on the “bleeding edge” with the advent of Personal Computers around 1984, Greg has always been involved in the integration of Enterprise applications with personal computing technology and has always aimed to make useful tools from computers and software.Greg’s foray into mobile development started in 2000 with HP Australia’s attempt to build a Java-based PDA for school students. This interest has continued since then with the development of mobile solutions for various products, including asset maintenance and compliance solutions, forms-based solutions and, most recently, sales and service-based solutions.A common feature of these solutions is that they are process-driven and task-focused, reducing the complexity of enterprise applications to a manageable level on mobile devices.Greg has worked with National Australia Bank, IBM Singapore, JBA Group (UK), ANZ Bank and HP Australia.
