Profile bio

About Greg Rocco

I’ve worn many hats in my 20-year career touching every part of the marketing, advertising and product development cycle from bringing new products to market to stewarding existing business with focus on applying consumer insights and industry trends resulting in increased revenue growth for my clients. The common thread to my success at each point in my career has been my ability to build and expand relationships with client partners and consumers. Getting stakeholder buy-in on a new go-to-market strategy melding client goals with market fit is only the first step to generating success. Then I get to the real (nose-to-the-grindstone) work. Operating in fast-paced environments, making quick decisions under the gun and managing multiple initiatives within a broader roadmap is how I’ve made my living. Quick to think on my feet, I turn a roadblock into an opportunity and excel under pressure. I currently play a pivotal role in uncovering strategic insights from both the consumer and the broader commodity- driven CPG industry arena to deliver products to Costco that both fit what their consumer is looking to purchase but also providing innovative new items that capitalize on emerging trends to coalesce with Costco’s overall goal of continuing to grow their membership. Having a very diverse professional background has prepared me to adapt to unforeseen challenges and embrace new opportunities. I’m always looking for conversations about hurdles others are facing and believe we can all learn from discussing these situations with one another and can benefit by applying these learnings to our own experiences. If you would like to collaborate or even just talk sports (UNC Chapel Hill alum and huge NY Mets, Giants, and Knicks fan), reach out at uncrocco@gmail.com.
