Estimating Manager
CurrentManages the daily activities of an estimating department for Ring's End. Implements technical estimating standards and procedures and oversees the work of project estimators. Being an Estimating Manager solicits supplier bids and proposals for material and equipment and evaluates proposals to ensure they meet project specifications and budget requirement. Responsibilities include the training and staffing of the estimating department. The Estimating Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. The manager ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.
