I believe in the power of conscious creation and our ability to come together to make a lasting impact on our collective future. There is a movement happening toward living with purpose and creating new paths forward for a more peaceful and sustainable existence on earth. My goal is to make a meaningful contribution to this movement by connecting talent with their purpose and access opportunities to make an impact with brands whose mission aligns with their values.Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a genuine interest in people and helping them carve a successful path for themselves. This led me to the pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Psychology. After University, I discovered the world of recruiting which afforded me the opportunity to utilize my interest in human behavior by working with talent and companies to gain an understanding of their professional needs as well as developing and cultivating meaningful relationships within the industry. After moving to NYC in 2007, I became fascinated by the digital era that was upon us and immersed myself in the world of digital advertising. I spent over a decade helping some of the industry’s most well-respected advertising agencies access the best and brightest digital creative and non-creative talent in the business. This was exciting and lucrative for everyone involved but something was missing for me as well as much of the talent I had the pleasure of working with over the years. Many people were experiencing burnout and searching for more purpose and meaning in their work.As Bruce Feiler describes in his book, The Search, Finding Meaningful Work in a Post-Career world - “Fewer people search merely for work these days. More people search for work with meaning. We’re moving from a means-based economy to a meaning-based economy. As each of us goes through the process of rewriting our individual story of success, we also participate in something that’s urgently overdue: rewriting our collective story of success.”I was compelled to form NuWave Talent and begin advocating for talent and organizations who do purposeful and impact driven work. I'm on a mission to help people connect with their true purpose, live their truth and be agents of change for a brighter tomorrow.
