While this work has been done as a volunteer, I have used all my engineering, creativity, management, and leadership skills to help make this event a success. I feel humbled being on the ground floor and working to build the most technical holiday light show in Wisconsin.• As an initiative-taking individual relied on my mechanical engineering degree and manufacturing related experiences, but the remaining aspects required to create this event were self-taught.• Designed and planned the power & network infrastructure in Evergreen Park required to run the show.• Inventor, Designer and, in several cases, builder of the major stages in the park including the Front Gate, Racing Arches, Mega Tree, Mega Star, Magic Igloo, Church Steeples, Leg Lamp and many other displays.• Driver of continuous improvement activities to speed up the setup and takedown processes and reducing the number of volunteers required. • Develop and manage the production budget.• Mentor & manage volunteers for building the displays and setup and takedown of the annual Christmas Light Show• Primary sequencer setting the show to the music.• Mentor and managed the production crew creating the environment where, “If we can think it, we can build it!”

UDC Building Inspector for the Village of Waldo

Responsible for all continuous improvements and lean manufacturing methods to improve on-time delivery and scrap reduction in a job shop environment on a 3 shift schedule with over 150 employees. Departments included Casting, and all secondary operations including CNC machining.

Managed 10 manufacturing engineers. Implementation Lean Manufacturing including 5-S principles on the manufacturing floor. Continuous improvement, and cost reduction management. Capital equipment procurement and installation.
