I began my career working in offshore oil and gas in the Gulf of Mexico. I really enjoyed the scale and magnitude of this sector, but a few years later I was given the opportunity to move into the wind industry. The challenges associated with wind energy's rapid growth offer limitless opportunities that have been extremely exciting and professionally rewarding. I have gained a solid understanding of the wind industry and have the discipline, communication tools and technical expertise to be successful. I have managed and collaborated on various high level projects within my organization, with notable deliverables and results. I have had the opportunity to travel abroad, and that experience has been a great addition to my skill set in an industry I am very passionate about. On a personal level, I am an outdoor enthusiast and I enjoy visiting new places and pushing the limits. I’ve climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro (highest peak in Africa), Mt. Hood and Mt. Whitney (highest peak in the lower 48). I’ve hiked/kayaked for 10 days in Patagonia and been in 8 of the top 10 National Parks in the U.S. I’ve traversed Costa Rica, starting on the Pacific Coast and finishing on the Caribbean Sea by hiking, mountain biking, and whitewater rafting only.As you can see, I enjoy being challenged. It has taught me perseverance and to remain positive and enthusiastic even during hectic periods. This also translates well into my professional life. I thrive in a fast paced working environment, where I am pushed outside of my comfort zone. I am self motivated and driven to win. I am willing to contribute to the team in any way necessary to meet and exceed goals.
