CurrentA nonprofit organization focused on smart growth initiatives, representing over 10,000 homeowners, 45 HOA’s, and 20,000 registered voters collectively addressing growth, transportation, and land use issues in Northern El Paso County. Built executive relationships with State Representatives, El Paso County Commissioners and Planning staff, Town of Monument, Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce, and Pikes Peak Area Council of Governors, by promoting smart growth initiatives for our focus area. Drove significant increases in NEPCO membership and expanded territory to include high growth areas in Black Forest, all while encountering 40% population growth over the past 3 years.• Re-instated the 501C3 non-profit status with the IRS by filing 6 years of overdue tax returns.• Developed a 3-year OPEX spending plan, set annual budget targets, increased income.• Improved overall cash positions by driving rate increase approvals of the NEPCO board and membership.• Managed all financial responsibilities, created annual membership invoices, collected membership dues.• Developed an IT plan for cloud-based backups, email capability, website, and electronic record keeping.
