These scripts and functions can solve many problems with standardizing how ArtiosCAD displays information on spec sheet title blocks (e.g. for large corporate customers, multiple business units and locations within your company, etc.). Six years later I wrote a user interface called "Designer Edition" for the Lasercomb INTERACT command-driven interface, making it a menu-driven design tool for Designers. (Parts of my original design library are still being used in ArtiosCAD today.)My involvement with CAD led to a full time position in CCA's IT department in 1985. After CCA was purchased by Jefferson Smurfit in 1986, I also became responsible for all PC-based networks, servers, and e-mail for North America and continued with those additional responsibilities until the mid 90's when the network became too large for one person to manage.In 1999, Smurfit merged with Stone Container and I managed the migration of 120+ sites running different software (Laserpoint and Designer Workbench) to a single CAD system (ArtiosCAD). RockTenn acquired Smurfit-Stone in 2011 and I became responsible for supporting and merging all CAD systems into a single entegrated solution using ArtiosCAD Enterprise. Through mergers and acquisitions (e.g. RockTenn and MeadWestvaco merged to become WestRock), my responsibilities now include 500+ ArtiosCAD workstations spread around the world at 170+ locations.
