My 20+ years of corporate consumer electronics experience ranges from new product creation in R&D including electrical design, manufacturing, Engineering & Marketing management to new business creation. IP generation and product strategy has been an enduring passion for me. Inventor on 54 US granted patents and analyzed untold numbers of competitive patents in support of not only Freedom-to-Operate patent clearance but also the more valuable exercise of understanding how patent value is captured beyond the immediate products being launched -- patenting is only part of the overall solution. Today, I bring that execution experience and insight to my clients, not only helping them understand “Intellectual Property” and strategic product design, but also identifying, inventing and developing into key areas, capturing future value – this goes beyond the less sophisticated, single-minded product patent protection.
