- Worked independently to support scientists studying predator/prey interactions between tiger sharks, sea turtles, and herbivorous fishes in order to better understand how the presence of tiger sharks, and their impact.
- Collected samples (including fork and total length, blood, skin, and muscle) from Tiger Sharks caught on drum lines as well as tracked sharks with acoustic tags.
- Gathered population information of small fishes using live traps in seagrass beds set using a Hookah diving system.
- Responsible for data entry and organization of databases on Microsoft Excel for scientific analysis.
- Caught and placed identification tags on Loggerhead Turtles for population research
