Chambers Landing is a historic restaurant, bar, and pier on beautiful Lake Tahoe, Ca. I worked during the summers of 2019 and 2020. I held positions as a restaurant busser, pier security guard, and food expeditor. As food expeditor which was my main role, I was responsible for setting the pace and flow in the kitchen. I had to communicate clearly and quickly with chefs and servers to maintain an orderly dinner or lunch service. As a busser I provided support to servers by cleaning tables while running and organizing orders from the kitchen. Exercised customer service skills by answering questions and ensuring customers were taken care of. I provided a welcoming environment and directing customers from the beach and pier to the restaurant. Demonstrated leadership I when trained new employees. I ensured safety of costumers and nearby boaters by enforcing the rules and guidelines. Sustained cleanliness and appearance of the property grounds by emptying the trash containers and placing equipment in the proper place when working as a security guard.

In charge of church operations including opening, set-up and closing during church services. Responsible for ensuring everything was ready and in place for mass to begin. Cleaned and put away as necessary after mass.

Worked at the California State Lottery booth, one of the busiest attractions at the California State Fair. Interacted with and serviced customers in the selling and administration of lottery tickets. Gained experience in calculating quick simple math to add up how much a customer had to pay or how much they won.
