It provides an ecosystem of specialized APIs, including BB2, with data for a variety of end-users including doctors, Accountable Care Organization (ACO) hospitals, prescription drug sponsors, and third-party developers. Both APIs support Data Analytics Strategy Group’s (DASG) vision to innovate data sharing so beneficiaries and their healthcare partners have the data they need to make informed healthcare decisions. Ad Hoc is the prime contractor on the program.

Participated in the User Interface working group, finalizing standards, focusing the group on developing the guidance and associated specific templates as required, etc. Assisted in tracking applications progress and implementation plans with DISA/OSD and participated in a Web Services Action Team to go to developer sites and migrate to web services. Participated in an effort to define and document a methodology with specific stages and deliverables for analyzing and migrating an information domain to an interoperable Web Services framework. This methodology described how program executives responsible for providing enterprise information services, can approach semantic integration within their specific domain and extend to external enterprise domains. This methodology analyzed a “stovepipe” information domain, and refined it as a suite of modular applications that were self-describing, could be published, located and invoked over the web based on open Internet standards.
