This methodology described how program executives responsible for providing enterprise information services, can approach semantic integration within their specific domain and extend to external enterprise domains. This methodology analyzed a “stovepipe” information domain, and refined it as a suite of modular applications that were self-describing, could be published, located and invoked over the web based on open Internet standards.
