Land Acquisition/Site Selection/Land Development for New Construction Single Family Subdivisions and Master Planned Communities in the Houston and Greater Houston Area. Working closely with Land Development Teams, Real Estate Developers, Engineers, Real Estate Brokers, and Land Sellers/Owners.

Commercial operating lines of credit, owner occupied and investment real estate lending, equipment finance, mergers & acquisition financing for lower and middle market companies. Completed over $200M in acquisition loans for companies with revenues between $20-150M.

Assist relationship managers with underwriting and performing proper due diligence on C&I and CRE credit opportunities including new relationships and existing relationships. Responsibilities include reviewing market data from CoStar, IBISworld and various other industry reporting groups; connecting with industry professionals outside of the bank to stay on top of industry trends; analyzing appraisals; preparing underwriting packages that include various financial analyses and models; site inspections (for RE); spreading financials; actively engaging in community efforts; and working directly with Senior Credit Officers. As an underwriter, I underwrote mostly CRE deals, but also worked on C&I and syndications from RMs in our commercial, CRE and private lending groups. Also stayed actively involved with groups such as RMA (Risk Management Association) to keep credit tools sharp.Underwrote $200M+ worth of loans for homebuilders, SFR subdivision developers, multi family and CRE loans (office, retail, etc).

The mission of this program is to provide an opportunity for ULI Young Leaders and veteran ULI members to create lasting professional relationships by sharing knowledge and experiences in an intimate small-group setting.Groups consist of 5-6 young leaders and one mentor each, and meet a minimum of four times over the course of the program year. Participation is restricted to ULI members only, and selection is based upon a competitive application process.

• Assist relationship managers with underwriting commercial credit packages including structuring of new requests, providing guidance on credit policies, assessing risk, performing stress tests analyses, covenant tracking, collateral analysis, risk ratings and spreading financial reporting (via CASH and Moody’s Risk Analysis – beg. in 2019). Attend customer calls to support lenders.• Underwrite commercial loans to small to mid-sized companies ranging from $500k - $35M; Underwrote over $200M in loans since starting in 2016. • Pull reports including exceptions, loans coming due and loans maturing, covenant tracking and WIP reports for analysts within the Houston region. • Underwrite Commercial Real Estate (70%), C&I (20%) and occasionally SBA (10%) loans. Real estate experience includes Builder GLOCs, OOCRE, CRE, Hotel & Multi-Family Development and Land Development. • Review closing documents and attorney prepared documents with lenders and lending assistants

• Perform Tax, Auditing and Accounting functions for both local businesses and individuals within a local public accounting firm. Calculate sales tax and estimated tax payments. Perform and prepare reconciliations, month-end closings, AP & AR Aging schedules and invoices. Assist senior auditors with audit preparation and other audit functions. Prepare analyses for Senior CPAs and CEO/CFO and attend presentations with current clients and prospects.

Administer aid to students who need help with their coursework. The areas that I mostly help students with are English (essays) , business (and accounting), and mathematics.

• Worked directly with underwriters and relationship managers in analyzing both private and public institutions’ creditworthiness and financial position. Spread financials using Moody’s Risk Analyst. • Worked with 3 other analysts within the analyst pool (30+ analysts selected in the nation) to present a product or service project to senior management of the commercial division that would give the company a competitive advantage.
