    When I joined Ferrara Pan Candy Company in 1999, it was a $100M privately held company with three network servers. Ferrara Candy Company is now a $1 billion company after a 2012 merger made it the 5th largest candy company in North America.My contributions included creating and delivering the IT strategy and transitional architecture plan to support the business goals, streamline business processes, increase cost efficiency, and minimize risk. During the merger and creation of this $1B t/o global company, I headed the consolidation and opening of offices, distribution systems and data centers, and created the technology roadmap to synchronize disparate systems and sites on SAP. I cut the mobility budget by 50% with a 13% discount and a $100K maximum annual commit against mobile expense of c. $350K+. I also renegotiated contracts, and cut print costs by 20% ($60K annual) via consolidation of vendors and contracts.Further savings included >$500K from $7M budget via data center / workforce consolidations, and renegotiation of WAN/MPLS contracts enabling a lean IT staff to manage 12 worldwide locations.
