I am a qualified Actuary with over 25 years’ experience, having been a practising Scheme Actuary at Deloitte and more latterly Isio. I advise a wide range of clients on all aspects of operating and managing defined benefit schemes. I advise trustee and corporate clients on pension funding, governance and risk issues. This includes advice on integrated risk management (IRM), scheme funding, contingent funding and liability management.Since 2006, I have specialised in the taxation of pensions, helping numerous clients to understand and communicate the impacts of pensions taxation for key personnel and to develop alternative reward strategies, being the retained adviser on this subject to numerous clients.
