STAFF MANAGER – INFORMATION TECHNOLOGYLeading the establishment and build out of a Business Intelligence and reporting shared service for use within the major Qualcomm divisions. Service practice customers consist of Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Contracts and operations.- Managed a staff of 15-25 resources providing Business Intelligence(BI) and reporting solutions for several Qualcomm divisions- Lead the development of a BI shared service offering consisting of the following services - BI application design - Report development and deployment - Created subject matter specific BI applications for Sales, Legal, Operations, and finance- Provided leadership and operational funding for a comprehensive financial data warehouse spanning numerous business units- Managed all vendor relationships (Cognos, Qlikview, Salesforce, Netezza and Informatica)- Established offshore development and support contingent workforce team consisting of resources from 3 locations within India.- Established a joint application development (JAD) process methodology designed for highly collaborative business requirements and application design planning process- Completed 20+ large scale BI application deployments and hundreds of tactical reporting solutions
