I partner with my clients as a technology leader and trusted advisor applying a strong technical background with over 20 years consulting, software delivery and business management experience. A digital native, having started my career in 1998 at AKQA. I led the technical consulting and development teams helping the company to grow and become one of the most respected and awarded digital agencies.In 2004, I co-founded Priocept - a technology consulting business, marrying the client service and agility from the 'agency' world with more established processes from management consultancies and systems integrators, to help clients innovate and deliver digital products and services to their customers. Leading the business from technical advisory to clients; to the implementation of large scale web platforms; to running the financial and operational side of the company.In 2017, I joined ThoughtWorks to work with best-in-class software delivery teams on large-scale digital transformation programmes, using my expertise in business management, technical consultancy and hands-on programme delivery roles to develop existing client relationships and create new business opportunities.I have helped clients such as London Stock Exchange, Lloyd’s of London, Orange (EE), Virgin Mobile, British Car Auctions, Avis Budget, Nike, Sainsbury’s, BMW and GlaxoSmithKline invent, design, build, launch and successfully operate their web platforms and supporting digital services.I enjoy working with clients that are ambitious, are market leaders in their sector, who embrace change and the new business opportunities that change creates.

Technical Programme Director
With the growth of the business and the increasing complexity of the implementations conducted for clients, I moved into a client facing role to plan and execute the roll-out of large scale web content management and ecommerce solutions for clients such as Sainsbury's, British Council, Orange, Littlewoods and London Stock Exchange.

As Technical Director, I held overall technical delivery responsibility across AKQA's client base which included: Microsoft, Orange, BMW, Sainsbury's, British Council, De Beers and Nike. I also held responsibility for the management of the web development and software engineering teams and the ongoing development of the technical delivery capability at AKQA in London.During this period, AKQA completed a merger and acquisition of a number of digital agencies based in North America and Asia. I was part of the transition team which worked on the M&A activity and to define and unify working processes in the newly created AKQA Inc.

I started my career at AKQA in 1998 following the completion of my university degree. Part of a close-knit team of designers, developers and account managers delivering digital solutions for clients such as BMW, Sainsbury’s Orange and Microsoft.In the following years the list of clients grew to include Land Rover, Mini, Nestle and Nike expanding the business to over 150 staff. Fuelled by this growth, my role evolved from a developer to a Technical Manager, responsible for a team of web developers and software engineers.
