I have a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston. Majoring in Marketing and Minoring in International Studies. With over 30 years experience in Industrial Sales in Texas and Louisiana. My professional history is one of entrepreneurship having owned three separate businesses. My first entrepreneurial venture was as part owner and General Manager of Parker Supply in Odessa, Texas from 1980 until 1987. After the oilfield "bust" of the mid eighties and relocating to Houston in 1987, I founded LaKiva Corporation which was a custom manufacturer of fiberglass products for industry. In 1990 I also founded R.E.P.S., Inc which was my passion for the next twenty-one years. R.E.P.S., Inc was a "manufacturer's representative" company that contracted to sell industrial equipment in Texas and Louisiana. The twist being that the materials of construction were non-metallic and corrosion resistant. In January of 2012 I was offered the position as Southwest Regional Manager for Plast-O-Matic Valves, Inc. and the timing was perfect for my career. I have very much enjoyed my initial year as an employee of the finest manufacturer of thermoplastic control valves in the world! I am a graduate and supporter of the “Program for Excellence in Selling” at the University of Houston, which is internationally recognized as one of the best sales educations in the world. My interests are varied with an increasing focus on preventative health habits and fitness. My recent interest has been developing my Spanish speaking skills in the belief that before my business career is finished there will be excellent growth potential for American products in Mexico, Central and South America.
