Member of a cross-functional information technology management team reporting directly to the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and directly interfacing with the firm’s management team, partners, associates, and staffServed as liaison between attorneys, paralegals, and clients, and the Information Technology DepartmentResponsible for the day to day operation of the Information Technology Department with 8 direct reportsManaged information-technology and e-discovery / automated litigation-support projects with a focus on project management, quality control, and customer serviceServed as IT liaison to the firm’s Litigation Support Department and provided ongoing consultation regarding technology infrastructureDirectly negotiated contracts and managed various relationships with vendors providing technology-related products, services, and consultation to the IT Department and to the firmManage and support matters through all aspects of e-discovery and trial. Consult with legal teams to develop appropriate case‐specific strategies throughout the discovery process, with a focus on cases in the internally hosted kCura Relativity environmentManage, support, and validate electronic processing in Law and Relativity, load file & data manipulation, data loading into review platforms, and document productionsNegotiate, review, compare, and present third‐party proposals to legal teams. Ensure third‐party vendors conform to all firm guidelines, protocols, and best practicesAccurately interpret and understand case‐team needs, while setting appropriate expectations and communicating risk factors. Anticipate and proactively resolve or escalate issuesProvided support for database users including basic and advanced review training, workflow consultation, query building, technical support and other user related requestsDeveloped and presented proposals for all IT projects to management for funding
