Contributed to an ongoing optical neural network research project.

Characterized the uniformity of and developed a process for reactive ion etching of large-area computer-generated phase holograms for optical metrology.

Supported and lead efforts to develop technologies, including ultra-stable bonding, picometer actuation, and wave front sensing and control, that will enable future space-based telescope mission objectives. Volunteered time to design and deploy payloads on an atmospheric balloon to collect upper-atmospheric data, including 360-degree video for VR.

Responsible for holding regular study sessions and being a learning resource for Linear and Fourier Mathematics.

Worked with a handful of professionals at the institute to explore the potential applications of transfer learning and neural networks for astronomical purposes. Got experience with image processing, data management, and deep learning in a collaborative research environment that supports the advancement of astronomical knowledge and fosters a wonderful atmosphere of continual learning.

Assisted in the instruction of University Physics I with a professor. This included helping students during class, meeting regularly outside of class with the professor to discuss curriculum and methods, holding recitation sessions, grading assignments, and completing a project which included creating a video to enhance student learning.

Tutored students in a wide range of math and physics topics.

Contributed to the development of the RIT Multi-Object Spectrometer (RITMOS). Responsible for the code that streamlines collected data into a Flexible Image Transport System (FITS) file format and independently designed and built the circuit that is being used for the illumination of the flat-field calibration screen.

Worked with a team of students and professionals doing media-forensics related work.This included collecting media (photographs, video, and audio) that had the potential to be nefariously manipulated, and completing the media manipulations in editing software. Any manipulation assignment also had to be externally logged and exported to other sectors of this DARPA-sponsored project to be processed by manipulation-detection algorithms.

Organized and distributed equipment to those who needed it within the Center forImaging Science. Also worked to help establish a computerized indexing system for the equipment the Center owns.
