What a great ride it's been at Bader Rutter. When I joined we had about 50 folks on board. We just hit 275 the other day. The greatest pleasures I get being in business are helping our clients do great things and creating employment opportunities. My craft is writing, but with a business twist. Out of college at Iowa State, I wrote newsletters and did seminars for a commodity futures market consulting firm. Fun stuff. But not enough human contact, which led me to the marketing services business. I still love spending time with clients, hearing about their challenges and opportunities then, making something positive happen. I can't imagine doing anything else.
