With a strong foundation in all aspects of Business Development & Operations, I am a well-rounded, creative leader able to develop and execute successful growth strategies in partnership with retailers in the US and Canada.I am currently the President of mike & mike’s, Inc., a Toronto-based importer and distributor of more than 1500 SKUs of fresh produce, healthy snacks & grocery items. My experience includes nearly 20 years working with nonprofits and organizations to develop initiatives to create a healthier, more vibrant industry. Focused on helping to commercialize innovation in the food & AgTech space, I advise startup founders and entrepreneurs on missions in support of feeding the world’s growing population.As Chairman of the CPMA’s Education Committee and as a director of the OPMA, I’m proud to play a role in driving the consumption of fresh produce & healthy nutrition. Additionally, I teach Supply Chain Management and B2B Marketing courses at the University of Rhode Island, from where I received my undergraduate degree in International Business. I earned an MBA at Queen’s University and hold the CPA designation. I practice what I preach! by leading a healthy lifestyle and eating plenty of fruits & veggies while training for my next triathlon. Born and raised in New Jersey, I am a dual USA/Canadian citizen living in Toronto with my wife and three boys.
