I have over 15 years’ experience in national account management, working with blue chip organisations across multiple sectors. I’m a sales person by training, but with a farmer rather than hunter approach. Engaging with customers, understanding their businesses and drivers and building trust has underpinned my way or working, and I have a track record of maintaining existing business and growing new, profitable revenue streams. Working with colleagues across the organisation, I am able to ensure that problems are solved and a seamless customer experience is delivered; throughout my career I have got things done through positive relationships and influence, rather than through direct delegation or a hierarchical structure. I enjoy working with different teams, including internal colleagues, suppliers and within client firms, and value a collaborative respectful environment in which broad objectives are shared. My professional approach is underpinned by integrity and transparency - I take my commitments to customers very seriously and being open, professional and knowledgeable are also hugely important. I’ve worked in a flexible, home-based set up for over a decade now, and ultimately focus on delivery, with a disciplined and well-organised approach to information and deadlines. Virtual selling and communications generally are not new to me, so the more recent necessity to use these methods has meant I have been well-prepared for the transition. Having worked in technology environments for over 20 years has kept me abreast of developments and I’ve always been an early adopter of tech products and solutions.
