Planned, coordinated, and resourced all training events for the battery. Selected out of over 20 peers to serve as headquarters executive officer based on outstanding performance. Integrated over 150 fire support soldiers into the battery while simultaneously conducted accurate and timely equipment transfers to ensure new soldiers were mission capable upon transition. Oversaw management of the arms room, supply room, and property book to ensure proper resourcing was conducted to maintain 100% unit readiness. Managed and accounted for all sensitive items in the battery arms room and passed command inspection with 100% rating, the only battery out of 5 in the battalion to have zero faults. -
Fire Support Officer, Bravo Company, 326Th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 1St Bct, 101St Airborne DivUs Army Oct 2014 - Jun 2015Arlington, Virginia, UsForward deployed, I was the Company Fire Support Officer and the Operations Officer for Bravo Company, 326th Brigade Engineer Battalion in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and now Operation Resolute Support in Afghanistan. I coordinated and integrated helicopters, ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance), howitzers, and mortars for each mission our company goes out on. I also controlled these assets while out on missions. As the Operations Officer, I helped plan platoon, company, and battalion level operations, managed the company calendar with scheduling missions, and coordinated for additional assets for each mission. Successfully and safely called for fire while simultaneously de-conflicting the airspace and controlling OH-58Ds which verified and validated the BN defense plan for Kandahar Airfield with the use of howitzers and rotary wing aircraft. Planned all concepts of fires while also acting as a forward observer for 35 patrol missions. Resourced, coordinated, and conducted drivers training for over 100 Romanian soldiers, which was instrumental in the transition of Romanian forces to take over control of missions as our unit prepared to redeploy back to the United States. Planned the successful execution of 1 battalion level operation, 2 air assault operations, 1 high value target arrest, and over 20 combined arms route clearance operations. Rated by battalion commander as top 30% of all lieutenants in the battalion. Achieved a Bronze Star Medal for Meritorious service. -

Additionally, responsible for the vision and leadership that establishes and maintains a positive relationship with the 2-320th Field Artillery Regiment and 1st Brigade Combat Team Fires Cell. Fire Support Officer developed the fires cell leaders to be proficient, accountable, adaptable, creative thinking, and ready to assume positions of increased responsibility. Company Fire Support Officer for Bravo Company: Responsible for educating the unit, especially the commander, on the benefit of indirect fires and how to effectively integrate them into company training. Remained the expert in all things fires related. Created the first fires cell within an Engineer battalion and was a fires liaison officer which enabled the Artillery and Engineer battalions to have more succinct and better coordinated combined training. Educated the Engineer battalion by briefing over 75 officers and non-commissioned officers the fires capabilities and also trained 20 engineer soldiers the basics on fire support. Planned and executed all fire support training including the training conducted at the Joint Readiness Training Center. Graduated Honor Graduate of the Joint Fires Observer Course. Rated #3 of 17 as the only Artillery officer among peers of Engineer officers in an Engineer battalion. -

I was a founding member, captain, and coach of the West Point Soccer Club as well which took just over 4 years to get fully funded and recognized as an official West Point club. I served as the 4th regiment class representative to help coordinate with class wide events, collect tickets/info from classmates, as well as setup for the events.
