On a freelance basis I have reported on Scottish Premiership and Betfred Cup matches, usually involving either Hibernian or Heart of Midlothian. This involves producing a match report on the final whistle, a post-match piece and a follow-up manager's piece for the following day.I have also covered pre-match press conferences with both managers and players.

From September 2017 I became a journalist for ENRG Sport, a newly launched sports website from Edinburgh Napier University students, which aimed to creating regular written, radio and video content about a wide variety of sports.For ENRG Sport I often produce article based on football and golf, including match reports, features and interviews.I also regular featured as part of The Football Round Up and ENRG Sport Live, two live radio shows which are then edited by myself and uploaded to the website as podcasts.

After a year of contributing for ENRG Sport I was then asked, along with another contributor, to become co-editor of the website from May 2018. All of my contributions to the website remain the same, but I now have the joint responsibility of making sure regular, quality content goes out on to the website. I edit all work that has been submitted, give suggestions for articles, upload content to the website and make sure it is well-presented. I have also helped to recruit new contributors and give advice on how to improve their work.

My first experience with YFS began in the summer of 2015, when I applied for an internship, which then lasted throughout the summer. During this time I gained my first experience of article writing and interviewing, along with administration work.After this, I was asked to become a member of the YFS Media team which I have been a regular contributor to. My work consists of match reporting at games throughout the South-East of Scotland and interviewing coaches and players, varying from league games to national cup finals.During the summer of 2016, I was part of a team that hosted media nights in Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Glasgow. During these events we provided entertainment for several hundreds of young footballers, as well as conducting interviews, photoshoots and other activities. Amongst this I have also done live co-commentary for YFS and contribute several other articles.In June 2017 I was awarded with the YFS Volunteer of The Year award for my work over the previous 12 months.

In the summer of 2017 I worked at Next as a Sales Assistant, working full-time throughout the summer sale and producing quality customer service. Roles included working on tills, managing stock, maintaining the presentation of the shop floor and helping with customer queries.
