As a member of the RBH Executive Committee responsible for Capital and Project Management, Facilities Management and Health and Safety Departments and the employees within each structure. Responsible for all large refurbishment and construction related projects that the RBH technical team are appointed to deliver including new build developments, bedroom extensions, and Hotel rebranding projects. Responsible for capital and development budgets for the Hotel Owners we work with.

Co-ordination and management of all capital projects and capital spend across Group of 70+ Hotels. Providing regular progress reports, technical advice and reporting on annual capital plans to the groups of Owners RBH managed hotels for and ensuring all capital projects are delivered on time and on budget. Responsible for onboarding with 26 Q Hotels in 2018 and co-ordination and managing all capital spend across the portfolio.In 2017 the Capital department was awarded the annual Best in Class Award Responsible for the decouple of 22 IHG Branded Hotels in 2016 which involved liaison with all HODs.

One of the senior management team responsible for the Property Department reporting to CEO and Owners, Starwood Capital. Responsible for statutory compliance including the preparation and implementation of the group’s H&S and leisure H&S policies, and group property, environmental and health and safety audits. Managing and co-ordinating the planned and reactive maintenance programme and all utilities.Project management of all construction, refurbishment, M&E works, building restoration, energy management and capital expenditure projects.Responsible for property related due diligence when Starwood Capital purchased 22 x Principal Hayley Hotels in 2013, 5 x Four Pillars Hotels in 2014, 23 x De Vere Venues in 2014, then placed 20 sites on the market between Dec 14 and Mar 15. Following Starwood’s purchase of Four Pillars Hotels and DeVere Venues early 2014, managed the integration of all property management processes, policy and statutory compliance.

Managed the company’s Property Department which included facilities management, utilities, environmental management and capital projects. Management of statutory compliance and H&S before a dedicated H&S department was formed. Financial responsibility for maintenance and utility budgets. Championed the company’s Environmental Management Programme and qualification for CRC.Responsible for property related due diligence and integration throughout purchase of 5 x HIE in 2004, Sale of 13 x HIE in 2005, purchase of 4 x Paten Hotel Group in 2008, new management contract with owners of 3 Whitehouse hotels and new management contract with owners of 9 Ramada Jarvis sites in June 2011.Assisted with project management of new build Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn and Ramada Encore Branded Hotels.
