Gregor is a highly motivated and driven Electrical Engineer, currently involved in large-scale renewable projects across the UK producing design reports for several concept phase electrical designs, and electrical analysis of these systems.Gregor also specialises in software development and programming and has successfully designed and coded a cable costing and design tool with accurate market pricing in Python. Gregor also has previous experience as Field Application Engineer with Texas Instruments, working to help design microprocessors and millimetre-wave radars into designs for consumer electronics.As part of the OMFE Project (January 2023-Present) Gregor designed the updated electrification system concept for participating production platforms in the north sea and presented findings through multiple workshops with stakeholders, as well as coordinated the final report to be delivered to the clients.Gregor was awarded the Ewart Farvis prize from the University of Edinburgh in 2022 , awarded annually to the final year student of Electrical Engineering who excels in project work of industrial relevance on the BEng Honours programme. Gregor’s thesis involved producing software for simulating distributed energy resources and smart grid elements in a power system.
