I managed the RNZAF Help Desk and master data team who; monitor data integrity, answer queries, fix problems, fault find, problem solve, provide process and SAP advice, test new processes, provide feed back to the Business Analysts and trainers, etc. Primarily I deal with the more contentious issues and provide oversight and guidance to the team, plus monitor work load and carry out the personal appraisals and assessments. This included communicating with the RNZAF SAP users particularly with regards to outages and management of the SAP upgrades. I was responsible for the integrity of the RNZAF Master data. This involved; reviewing data to identify errors, rectification of the data when errors were found, reviewing and improving the RNZAF processes to ensure similar issues do not arise again.

Projects manager; Managing the squadron miscellaneous tasks including management of the Squadron staff training (100 personnel), organisation of the flying maintenance teams, carrying out the Unit Ground Safety Officer duties, reviewing the squadron manning levels, organisation of squadron training days.Flight line manager; -Management of the shift personnel including (30+); performance assessment of personnel, prioritizing and assignment of maintenance tasks, planning of the operating level maintenance activities and servicings, co-ordination with outside agencies and communication with the higher management and the Air Crew. When deployed I was responsible for all deployed maintenance activities, liaising with the local agencies and maintaining communication with New Zealand.

Management of the Boeing 757 engineering documentation. Including publication amendments, review of civil aviation agency notifications (Air Worthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), Service Letters (SLs) etc), to determine if any RNZAF action was required. Responding to issues arising from within the RNZAF and liasing witht he Squadron Bays and agencies outside of the RNZAF.Organisation and administration of actions required from the civil agency notifications and internal notifications. Management of the maintenance plans and enforcement of the engineering information management systems including the engineering change processes for the Boeing 757. This included liaison with Rolls-Royce Boeing, Goodrich etc, including representing the RNZAF at the Boeing Conferences. I was involved with the introduction to service of the Boeing into RNZAF service including the creation of the Boeing information management and engineering support processes and development of the Boeing maintenance plans and supporting manuals and administration processes.. I was also involved with the due diligence review of the engineering information provided by the previous owners of the Boeing 757 aircraft.
