Setting the goal of making an end-user’s experience as positive as possible is how I start each writing project. People describe my work as clear and concise, with a flexible voice and tone to match any audience. Whether I am leading or supporting a project, I enjoy fulling participating in the creation, editing, and organizing of technical and non-technical information with the purpose of creating compelling and useful content for internal and external audiences. After helping to develop the Field Service Lightning Mobile App through pilot, beta, and full release on the App Store / Play Store, I designed the entire documentation set for the product, including release notes, online help, in-app assistance, and App Store/Play Store descriptions and patch notes. The clear labeling of the UI, especially the buttons, helped to minimize the need for yet more supporting documentation. Users were able to jump in this new app and intuitively know how to navigate because of the collaboration between the developers, the design team, and my writing skills. Known as a strategic thinker, I am often asked to provide input early in the design process to avoid later documentation issues. Using what I learned from the experience with the Field Service Lightning app, I supported the Service Cloud Mobile App from its inception through its full release. I created detailed release notes well in advance of the product release and major updates, and kept a clear division between Android and iOS versions of the app. I also documented any new or updated APIs created by my teams in both release notes and developer guides.I also greatly enjoy reviewing and editing the work of other writers.
