Gregor’s passion for software development started back in 1980 – well before personal computers and the Internet became household fixtures. A bright-eyed teenager at the time, Gregor wrote his first software program on a Commodore PET to track locker combinations for his high school. Since then, Gregor has architected software for major monitoring and control systems in the energy and utility sectors, and has led teams of computer engineers, quality assurance professionals, and application developers on software automation projects for the transportation, telecommunication, and broadcast media industries.Before founding his first consultancy in 2005 (Marionette Software Group), Gregor worked as a Computer Programmer at Alpha Power Technologies, PC systems Engineering Manager at Vansco Electronics, and Director of Software Development at Oakwood Media Touch. With more than 25 years of programming experience and over 7 years in project management, he knows the cost-saving benefits of well designed software for long-term technological innovation. Gregor’s commitment to software excellence and his razor-sharp problem solving skills are key to delivering smart, sustainable software solutions for his clients.If you catch Gregor away from his computer, you’ll likely see him camping, mountaineering, or skiing (downhill, backcountry, or cross-country).
