Returned to Canada in late 2013 and joined KPMG where I held a multi-disciplinary role leading Infrastructure Investment & Deal Advisory engagements. Engagements entail performing: Valuations, Business Modelling, Management/Financial Advisory, Debt Advisory, Due Diligence (commercial and financial) and M&A advisory (buy and sell side). Worked on sell and buy side engagements in Calgary, NY, London & Amsterdam.Placed on a long-term secondment to support the CFO at InterPipeline (TSX: IPL) with internal process rationalizations; led and revamped the execution of SOX work, interfaced with internal stakeholders throughout the organization, prepared presentation(s) to the Board and provided senior leaders with summarized findings.

• Responsible for all external reporting in over 35 countries to Puma Energy Group’s financing banks, shareholders and external advisors.• Lead role on multiple syndicated loan, project financing and acquisition-financing facilities; work entailed drafting Information Memorandums, coordinating due diligence, negotiating term sheets and developing financial forecasts and models appropriate to the particular financings. • Significant role on over USD 2 billion in acquisition, asset and revolving credit financing in Central America, Puerto Rico, West Africa and Australia. • Oversaw completion of the Group's annual financial statements; drafted the Group's first IFRS consolidated statements. • Key contact for the Parent, Trafigura, on various financial matters ranging from technical accounting issues to cash flow projections and deal team work.• Tasked with developing various capital structure analyses/scenario tests and group-forecasting cash-flow models for the Group's Executive Committee and Board of Directors.• Developed and prepared external presentations for the CEO & CFO to external stakeholders (financing banks, investor roadshows & external board).Trafigura was established in 1993 and is one of the global leaders in commodity trading and logistics, the Group is present in over 80 countries and is active in non-ferrous, bulk commodities, crude and petroleum products. • Performed vendor assist work entailing forecasting financials for a divestiture. Modeled the trading business (crude, product and bunker trading) as well as the downstream asset operations (storage terminals, etc) in over 15 countries. • Took lead roles on various commodity-trading audit clients. • Other client work included performing due diligence work on upstream oil acquisitions and helped commodity trading clients review their internal control processes.• Selected to be placed on a long-term (6 month) secondment to a subsidiary of a significant commodity trading entity.

Principally focused on commodity (energy, grain, tobacco) and shipping (Wet and LNG-tanker) entities in the context of US GAAP and IFRS audits with further experience in the Port Authorities, Utilities, Aquaculture, Mining and Real Estate industries. Worked on 2 separate NYSE IPO's. Worked on various multinational engagements in Panama, Norway, Denmark, Spain, the US and the UK.
