Gregorius Nugroho Arimurti is an undergraduate philosophy student at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta. Before studying philosophy, Ari spent his middle and high school years focusing on history, especially Indonesian history. Through this experience, he developed an interest in governance, development, and cultural values. These interests subsequently drove him to study philosophy and its relations to political and social reality. In addition to his studies, Ari developed his interests through various activities. He worked as the head of secretariat at BK MWA UM UGM, a non-structural supporting body for MWA UM UGM. On top of that, Ari also worked as the managing director of SKM UGM Bulaksumur, secretary general of Senat Mahasiswa KM UGM, and research and development staff in FPCI UGM. His work at SKM UGM Bulaksumur, a student publishing body, accustomed him to actual issues. On the other hand, his work at Senat Mahasiswa KM UGM, a student representative board, served as his political education platform. In addition, his work at FPCI UGM, a foreign policy community, acquainted him with issues of development and consensus-building.
