Dr. Broderick is board certified by the American Board of Urology (1992, 2002, 2012,2022). He is a Professor of Urology Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine and has been a Consultant in Urology at Mayo Clinic Florida since 1998.Specialties: His practice is focused on men’s health: erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, BPH, urethral strictures, incontinence. He has authored numerous peer reviewed publications, and chapters on male sexual dysfunction.Dr. Broderick is a Trustee of the American Board of Urology, a member of the Urology Residency Committee ACGME, and a member of the Board of Directors Society of Academic Urology.In 1992 he addressed the first Consensus Conference on Impotence sponsored by the NIH. In 1999 by the invitation of the Partnership for Women’s Health Columbia University and Office of Research on Women’s Health NIH he lectured at the National Press Club on: Embryologic, Anatomic and Physiologic Correlates in Male and Female Sexual Function. In summer of 1999, 2004 and 2009 he served as committee member and Co Chair to International Consultation on Sexual Medicine, in Paris.He is a founding member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America; he was elected President of SMSNA (2005-2006). He has served the American Urological Association as committee member and author of Clinical Guidelines: Priapism 2003, Premature Ejaculation 2004, and Erectile Dysfunction 2005 and 2006. He has served the Board of Directors of the Florida Urologic Society and Southeastern Section of the AUA.
