Providing above and below ground installations and maintenance of the main transmission system, through both routine and non routine procedures, project work and emergency cases. Experience in: High and low pressure maintenance / pressure reduction stations Highly complex power stations, national offtakes, district governors, service governors and metering installations Redesigning and constructing new stainless steel pipework to renew slam shut cabinets PIGGING (ILI Runs) Working on holders and their decommissioning In ground mods (ers, orpheus 4/10,  vector, chrysalis) SCO1,2,4,5 Rhinology readings/ testing Liaise and provide support to third party contractors, and OFGEM operatives Raise and address safety concerns to reduce NLTI's and LTI's, performing hazardous area reports (following SR25 procedure) Varied work day, either work alongside a team of technical engineers, mechanical and electrical, training apprentices or independently, to ensure high quality, safe and productive outcomes On call rota for emergency 24/7 to diagnose faults, provide and implement solutions  * Olympics 2012 – Member of the team responsible during the 2012 London Olympic games. Maintained and corrected intermittent faults on the gas supply to the stadium, flame and village.  * Continue to train apprentice technical engineers for the last for 4 years, often daily, responsible for their health and safety on site. Providing on site learning, covering all practical aspects required to support effective completion of qualification. * Continue to complete training courses throughout the year to remain up to date with the use and function of new equipment and the latest knowledge relating to my field.
