I identify, locate, and interview witnesses and determine their credibility for trial, review crime scenes, compare and evaluate reports and witness statements, collect evidence, take measurements and photographs, review evidence with clients, obtain documents and records for use in trials, locate mitigating witnesses, discover and obtain mitigation in death penalty cases, and serve subpoenas and other court orders.
