I am an accomplished attorney and business operations professional with a wealth of experience, having led the legal group and operations of BBAM Aircraft Leasing and Management (BBAM). BBAM managed a portfolio of commercial aircraft valued at approximately $3 billion when I joined the team. During my time with BBAM, our team successfully grew into the leading player in the aviation asset management industry, with over $15 billion in aviation assets under management at the end of 2020. Throughout my career, I have developed a proven record of giving solid legal and strategic business advice to executives and stakeholders on a wide array of sophisticated business and legal issues, corporate transactions, commercial contracts, M&A, regulatory compliance, litigation, employment, and corporate governance. I have been recognized by my colleagues and counterparties for providing practical, creative, and cost-effective advanced legal and business solutions to both established and emerging companies that meet overall objectives while protecting corporate interests and minimizing risks. Both at BBAM and in private legal practice, I have had extensive experience with aircraft acquisitions, leases, dispositions, workouts, restructurings and aircraft repossessions. I also have extensive experience evaluating, structuring and managing M&A transactions, structuring and negotiating credit facilities and executing securitization transactions and an initial public offering. As BBAM’s General Counsel, in addition to actively representing the company, I also developed, led and managed the legal group and deal teams, developed professional talent, developed and managed budgets, oversaw outside counsel, developed compliance and other policies and implemented technology to support the activities of the legal group.
